Your role and responsibilities

Business Line System Drives being part of ABB’s Motion Business is a leading supplier of drives, drive systems and packages for process industry and high-power infrastructure applications, as well as power conversion technology to renewable energy equipment OEMs. Currently we are looking for a candidate for the position of Order Execution Project Specialist who will strengthen ABB Tender & Execution Center team in System Drives Poland. Working as Order Execution Project Specialist You will be supporting ABB sales activity by leading the execution of medium-size projects and ensure that all related activities are performed in accordance with ABB policy, contractual agreements, quality standards, health, safety & environment requirements, financial targets, as well as schedule commitments. Reporting to Head of Order Execution Team, job is a hybrid model with three (3) office days in Aleksandrów Łódzki; Poland and two (2) days at home.The work model for the role is: #LiHybrid You will be mainly accountable for:• Take ownership of project execution from Order Intake until End of Warranty of delivered products/packages. Ensures efficient and correct order execution. • Ensures high customer satisfaction, presenting constant high customer focus. • Acts as key contact for the customer and an escalation point for project issues. Performs most of the tasks independently or with support from others.• Monitors and controls project financials, overseeing project invoicing status, cost, expenses and cash flow.• Identifies, qualifies, quantifies and manages project risks, and ensures that all opportunities are identified and pursued. • Coordinates with Supply Chain Management, and successfully procures required services, materials and equipment for the project from external and internal suppliers. Perform order handling activities e.g. logistics, invoicing etc.• Prepares complete project documents in own area of expertise.• Ensures that the project is formally closed out, as contractually agreed.

Qualifications for the role

Bachelor's degree or above (Higher education in engineering will be an asset). Project management experience (at least 2 years) in execution of small to medium-size projects (preferably order execution, power industry environment). Knowledge of project management methodologies: Knowledge of various methodologies, such as Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, or PRINCE2 will be an asset. Experience in direct work with customers and suppliers. Good command of English language enabling daily communication. Polish language will be an asset. Knowledge of transport management as well as Tax and Export compliance will be an asset. Previous experience with SAP or other ERP system will be an additional advantage. Very good communication skills, strong results orientation and self-organizing.
