Order Fulfillment Specialist I

The Order Fulfillment Specialist I is directly responsible for optimizing our fulfillment and customer delivery process on a daily basis. With a keen focus on the Customer Experience, this role schedules outbound shipments, manages internal and external routing activity and completes the shipping process.

*The shift for this position is Monday - Friday, 6am-2pm onsite at our facility in Janesville, Wisconson

Minimum Qualifications:

Associates Degree or equivalent experience

1 year of relevant distribution or fulfillment experience with leading technologies

Preferred Qualifications:

In depth knowledge of end to end OTC business processes including areas such as Order Management, Order Fulfillment, Invoice Management and Inventory Segmentation and Management

Extensive experience using Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and PowerPoint

Essential Duties:

Leads the initiation of the scheduling and routing processes for all outbound shipments, working cross functionally with transportation counterparts, as well as customer contact points.

Utilize systems to monitor expected outbound shipments, expediting fulfillment where opportunities exist, managing customer expectations when issues are presented.

Ensures scheduled and routed shipments are completed on time to customer expectations, quickly escalating process challenges when appropriate.

Assists with the initiation of the shipping process across distribution facilities daily.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk.  On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 - 50 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel.
