The Order Management Specialist will provide a high level of service to KDP’s Business-to-Business (B2B) Customers. The primary responsibility is to process customer orders via EDI or email following established protocols and in a timely manner. At times, there may not be established processes, requiring creative and/or innovative solutions to meet customer needs. This role will interact regularly with a variety of customers, building trusting business relationships and striving to provide a superior customer experience. Any issues that impact the ability to deliver to the customer on time will be escalated to the appropriate supply chain team, with responsibility for managing the follow-through to ensure satisfactory resolution. This individual may also participate in process improvement initiatives to meet customer needs and evolving business needs.
The position is based in Burlington, MA and will have hybrid schedule (3 days in the office and 2 days work from home)
Responsibilities
Enter, process and manage orders in our ERP system with active ownership and engagement from PO receipt to customer invoiceSupport Sales, Marketing, Supply Planning and Logistics on order-management issuesSupport successful execution of EDI transactions and trouble-shoot EDI Idoc errors for assigned pool of accountsProvide backup of accounts for other team members in their absenceNavigate computerized systems for tracking, information gathering, and/or troubleshootingRespond in a timely and professional manner to all Customer inquiries. Identify resources within Supply Chain to support timely response to Customer inquiriesCreate a positive experience for the Customer by consistently providing superior service and exceeding expectationsWork collaboratively with Transportation, Supply Planning and Distribution Centers (DCs) to support on-time and accurate order fulfillment and delivery to meet customer requirementsSupport on-boarding training for new associates and cross training of existing team membersProvide insight on and champion process improvement opportunities and the elimination of non-value-added work Requirements 1+ years of progressive experience in Supply Chain, preferably for consumer product goods.Experience working with Order Management/ERP systems, EDI (Electronic Data Interchange), online vendor portals, databases, and software systems.Prior experience in and ability to navigate computerized systems for tracking, information gathering, and/or troubleshooting.Experience in contributing to cross-functional team meetings with internal and external stakeholdersAbility to prioritize multiple tasks with focused attention to detail.Experience with Microsoft Office Suites, including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and PowerBI.Advanced computer and keyboarding experience.Experience working with Retail Buyers, Distributors, and/or Brokers.
