ORDER MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST/ADMIN SPECIALIST POSITION SUMMARY: The order management specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the Military aftermarket team at Parker Aerospace by ensuring seamless order processing, customer support and administrative efficiency. This position is responsible for managing customer orders from entry to fulfillment, coordinating with internal teams to resolve issues, and maintaining accurate records in compliance with company policies and industry regulations. The ideal candidate is detailed-oriented, customer-focused and skilled in multitasking within a fast-paced aerospace environment. RESPONSIBILITIES: + Process and manage customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfillment by reviewing Customer S ervice Administrators’ flow down instructions for pr od uct r e quirem e nts to existing terms and conditions of p u r c ha s e orders or maintenance a g reement s . + Act as primary point of contact for customer, providing order status updates and resolving inquiries. + Collaborate with internal teams, including logistics, supply chain, finance, customer support and contract management to address order-related challenges. Prioritizes requests an d commits to r easonable pr o du c tion and/or provis i oning lead ‐ ti m e. + Releases r e pairs to pro d u ct ion when customer approval is received by submitting wor k order to scheduler a nd upd a ting sales order + Generates and process of standard spares quotes in a timely manner and coord i na t es with price e stimating. Reviews pricing for reasonableness, submits quot a tions/p r oposals for cu s tomer review. + Manages customer portals, including downloading purchase orders, updating purchase order status, and expedite requests. + Collect data, conduct research, and compile information using a variety of mathematical calculations for a broad range of reports and projects. + Conduct inquiries into specific problems, such as delays, to ensure objectives are being met. + Communicate potentially negative situations to management in a constructive manner. + Read mail, highlight action or important items, attach relevant files or information before distributing. Respond to routine correspondence or draft routine responses for review and signature. + Maintain accurate records of orders, invoices and pertinent information. + Support administrative functions, such as data entry, reporting and document organization. + Ensure compliance with relevant Aerospace, Government and Company policies. Job Requirements: + Minimum of three years of experience in order management, customer service or administrative support, preferably in aerospace or manufacturing. + Must be able to obtain clearance to access USG systems. + Strong proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office suite. + Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. + Detailed oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. + High School diploma or education certificate in applicable functional area preferred. + Working knowledge of R-Card, MSS (Parker proprietary MRP system), WAWF knowledge is preferred + Experience with DD1149 forms preferred + Must demons t rate eff e ctive verbal, written and i nterpers o nal communication skills. + Ability to work effectively with others and b e a pa r ticipati v e team pl a y er. + Ability to navigate customer portals, retrieving orders, updating portals with Parker promise dates, and managing portal backlog accuracy, including delivery dates, quantities, and price. + Excellent Microsoft Excel skills, including Formula, Vlookup, and pivot table. This position is subject to meeting U.S. export compliance and/or U.S Government contracting citizenship eligibility requirements . Please note that the salary range information is only applicable for California, New York, Washington. Compensation is based on a variety of factors, candidate experience, qualifications, location as well as market and business considerations. The wage range for this role considers allowances for a number of factors, including but not limited to required experience, skill level, prior training, licensure/certifications, education, and other business needs.
