Order Management Specialist- Long Island, NY

If you are a Customer Service, Order Management Specialist, looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting position for you!  Based out of our Long Island, NY office, you will provide customer sales support for Flexim products. As a leader in the field of clamp-on ultrasonic flow measurement, Flexim offers the ideal flow meter solutions - even for the most demanding challenges.  

You will be responsible to help drive sales and expand your assigned territory. Demonstrated ability to function effectively in a fast-paced team environment, while also having the ability to work independently and deliver results is essential in this role.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Provide excellent customer service by effectively corresponding with customers (internal and external) on the phone and via email. Responsible for processing purchase orders in close collaboration with sales team. Monitor orders from beginning to end to ensure on time delivery. Works with various software systems: Microsoft Office, Navision, Dynamics 365 and CPQ. Acts as liaison between Customer, Representatives, BDM and Production. Follow Flexim process directives: Teams’ calls and meetings with Customers/Sales Channel as required. Work with the accounting department to set up new customer accounts. Sends “Thank you for your Purchase Order” and standard lead times within 24-48 hours of receiving PO. Checks for PO correctness and completeness. Checks for Past Due or Over Credit Limit upon receipt of PO. Communicate findings to accounting and customer. Enters PO into ERP system (Navision). Ensures all documents are collected and uploaded to each sales order in Navision (PO, FAST form, CPQ Quote, Tax Information, Trade Screening results, and Customer Checklist as required Sends order confirmation once a ship date is assigned. Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The salary range for this role is $55,000 - $65,000 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to the role.
