Department OverviewThe Portfolio Operations Team at Motorola Solutions drives the strategic development and implementation of business systems, with a focus on Enterprise solutions. The team is responsible for system stability, security, scalability, interoperability, and performance specific to Salesforce CRM and all supporting tools and technologies. Portfolio Ops also enables and streamlines orderability and fulfillment processes within the Motorola Solutions ecosystem, and develops analytics to monitor performance and pinpoint improvement opportunities.
Job Description

Seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Order Operations Analyst to join our growing team. This role will work to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of deals through our intercompany sales process. You will be responsible for accurately inputting deal information into Motorola CRM and CPQ environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure order accuracy and timely delivery of our SaaS solutions, and identifying opportunities to improve our processes through automation and workstream consolidation. This role will also be key in maintaining data integrity and managing reconciliation processes.

Responsibilities include:

Accurately input and manage deal information in Salesforce and quoting tools within the MSI and Rave environments, ensuring data integrity and completeness.

Track and monitor new order progress, proactively identifying and resolving any potential roadblocks.

Track and manage customer subscriptions, including renewals, upgrades, downgrades, and cancellations related to Rave and Noggin deals within all orderability environments.

Work closely with RevOps, Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to ensure end-to-end orderability of our SaaS solutions.

Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to gather necessary information and resolve order-related issues.

Participate in cross-functional meetings to provide updates and collaborate on process improvements.

Analyze current order management processes, identify gaps and inefficiencies, and recommend improvements.

Seek opportunities to automate manual tasks and consolidate processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Develop and maintain process documentation and training materials.

Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to order management and sales operations.

Generate reports to provide insights into order trends, identify bottlenecks, and measure process effectiveness.

Contribute to data-driven decision-making by providing accurate and timely information.

Perform account and opportunity reconciliation reporting to ensure data accuracy between systems.

Manage and prioritize intercompany lead and order case queues in Salesforce, ensuring timely follow-up.

Required Skills and Experience:

1+ years of experience in sales operations, order management, or a similar role.

Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).

Strong understanding of sales processes and order-to-cash cycles.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.  

Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.

Additional Desired Skills:

Experience with order management systems and tools.

Familiarity with CPQ (Configure Price Quote) software.

Knowledge of revenue recognition principles.

Experience in a SaaS or technology company.

Target Base Salary Range: $63,800 USD - $127,600 USD

Note: Candidate can reside anywhere in the US.
