Candidate profile (text) - Default language IKEA Nottingham are looking to welcome Order Pickers to join our hardworking Fulfilment team.

As an Order Picker at IKEA, you'll be at the heart of our operations, picking and preparing large volumes of orders for both online and in-store collection or delivery. Due to health & safety for this role, you must be 18 years of age or older!
WHAT WE OFFER
• The Start Date of employment will be: 16th March
• Competitive hourly rate of £12.60 per hour.
• 12 to 20 hours weekly, working between 3 to 4 days per week including 3 out of 4 weekends. Working hours are between 6am to 9:30pm

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
• Proven experience in utilising technical equipment.
• Proven record of applying and taking personal initiatives.
• Computer literate.
• Experienced in following action plans and working methods through guidance from manager.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
• You will be picking and preparing large volumes of orders for both online & in store collection or delivery.
• Your daily duties will be receiving stock, picking, checking order accuracy, and preparing orders for delivery.
• You will also be required to meet the customer in the store during picking.
• You will work with our internal systems to ensure that customers have accurate and full stock availability at all times.
• Contribute to the highest goods availability through accurate and on-time execution of the assigned fulfilment unit operations area of responsibility.
• Commit to all IKEA health, safety and security rules and requirements within the area of responsibility and actively help colleagues to prevent any incidents involving co-workers, customers, equipment, building and IKEA products.
• Contribute to optimized daily fulfilment operations by working in a lean, simple, and cost-conscious way, applying, and sharing good examples.
• Manual handling using safety portals and working with the use of pump trucks.
