Order Procurement Representative - Remote

JOB OVERVIEW:

This position is responsible for procurement of capital equipment and interface with manufacturing partners on a daily basis. The Procurement Specialist will review the order once assigned and ensure all the details are accurate prior to procuring the equipment based off the customer requested installation date. In addition to procuring equipment this position will also process credit/rebills, order adjustments, and other needs of the business as they arise.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (Please include % of time for each responsibility): 

Receives a high volume of procurement requests from our Equipment Specialists (ES) teamFollows procedures as outlined and procures equipment from within existing inventory prior to cutting a new purchase order from a manufacturer partner.Validates that updates within company systems (NES, Salesforce, Trello) are up to date and accurate same day action is completed.Tracks and monitors order process through the new PO Pend process with up-to-date notes.Responsible for overseeing the order process through the manufacturer confirmation stage.Timely communication with manufacturer partners and make necessary adjustments as needed.Timely communication with respective ES regarding order process and make any necessary adjustments if needed and obtain additional information or get clarification as needed.Responsible for following internal process and procedures as they are outlined regarding the order and procurement process.Reviews center inventory for additional procurement options, manages asset tag cost adjustments and credits from vendors for agreed upon contractual pricing.As order adjustments are submitted, reviews and ensures all details are included and effectively communicates with the respective Equipment Coordination Specialists (ECS) as needed for more details.

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE: 

Typically 4 or more years of related experience.

PREFERRED EDUCATION: 

Typically High School education, vocational training and/or on-the-job training. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands required.
