Miller Brother Staffing Solutions in York, PA has the immediate need of experienced Order Selectors for 2nd shift.  

Pay Rate – $20/hour

Shift: Sunday-Wednesday 7pm-done
           Wednesday-Saturday 7pm-done
**End time will vary based on the flow of business.  Candidates should expect to work 8 to 12-hour shifts**

3 most important things: Must have fast paced order selecting experience and operator a pallet jack Must be okay working in freezer warehouse Ability to follow instructions Job Description/Duties Will be operating material handling equipment such as high reach forklift, pallet jack, and tow motor to pick/pack products of incoming and outgoing shipments Will be doing manual picking Efficiently and safely load and unload freight using proper equipment to move products to storage throughout facility. Effectively stack and store merchandise, pick and assemble orders for shipment, check freight for accuracy, damage, and infestation, while labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking as directed by management. In compliance with OSHA standards, operate equipment (stand up forklifts, stand up staddle trucks, walk behinds, single/double pallet jacks and RF) in a manner that promotes safety. Must be able to meet production standards while maintaining a clean and orderly work environment. Perform other duties such as inventory, cleaning, or forklift battery changes and may be required to perform other duties outside of normal responsibilities as needed. Ability to interpret numbers to sort on pallet Ability to work in freezer warehouse area that is -15 to -20 degrees. Client will supply all warm gear including pants, coat, gloves, hats, boots, and safety equipment.
Requirements: Must have reliable transportation to show up when scheduled Past experience operating material handling equipment such as high reach forklift, pallet jack, and tow motor a huge plus Must have past order selecting experience and ability to operate a pallet jack Ability to read, write, interpret, and communicate English Must be able to work in a freezer that is -15 to -20 degrees Physical Demands: Must be able to work in spaces with 55 inches of headroom May be required to tolerate working environment with inside controlled temperatures of -15 degrees Fahrenheit and outside ambient temperatures (including heat, cold and precipitation) Must tolerate heights up to 30 ft. and be able to access elevated products from inside safety cage Requires standing up to 5 hours, over the period of an 8-hour shift Must transfer boxes of up to 70 lbs. and lift or carry products a minimum distance of 6 ft. without mechanical assistance.
