Order Support Specialist

Job Description:

The Operations and Sales Support Specialist serves as the backbone of the client's daily operations, supporting the client's Sales Team and Customers, while liaising with internal functions including Operations, Compliance, and Finance. The primary activities of this role include order processing, inventory management, and distribution support. The team collates information necessary for these activities from internal (Sales) and external (Customer) partners and executes per the client's SOPs. This includes order processing in the client's inventory management system, monthly inventory reconciliation activities, and daily pick/pack/ship of product to ensure the product is in the right place at the right time. The Operations and Sales Support Specialist will primarily interface with field-based stakeholders via phone and email from our St. Louis Office where efficiency and attention to detail will be crucial in maintaining smooth sales processes and excellent B2B relations.

Responsibilities

- Efficiently process orders based on information collected from emails and phone calls, ensuring company KPI of all orders processed in 24 business hours or less.

- Communicates updates on order status, inventory, pricing, and shipping information to internal and external stakeholders.

- Consults with sales, management, other departments, and outside partners to ensure orders ship on time.

- Helps resolve any sales order/inventory management issues in a timely and efficient manner, escalating when required.

- Performs, organizes, and streamlines operational tasks to reduce the potential for errors.

- Maintains accuracy of order processes and inventory system. Updates procedures, as necessary.

- Ensures the client's Sales Team is fully stocked with inventory and replenishes when requested.

- Provides the client's B2B Clients with exceptional customer support, ensuring customer satisfaction.

- Responsible for inventory management at HQ.

- Monthly Field Reconciliation.

- Participate as needed with special projects or requests assigned by Manager.

Qualifications:

Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new systems and leverage technology to increase productivity.Exhibits attention to detail on daily activities.Ability to work independently and as a TEAM.Desire to understand the WHY, comfortable sharing ideas for continuous improvement.Possess outstanding decision-making and problem-solving skills.Must have accuracy in data entry.High-quality standards in written/phone communication.Ability to interact with sales, management, and clients effectively.Proven record of success providing support to both internal and external stakeholders.Adapts to changes in the work environment; able to deal with frequent change or unexpected events.Maintain high-performance standards and perform independently in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.Self-motivated who takes the initiative to assist management when opportunities arise.2 years of Sales Support and/or Data Entry/Order EntryBasic knowledge of Microsoft Office applicationsHigh school diploma / GED required, with 2 years of relevant experienceBachelor’s degree preferred.Experience with medical organizations and government-sponsored health care programs is a plus.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00
