As part of the Order to Cash (Accounts Receivable) team, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of our revenue and billing processes. Our team is fast-paced and cross-functional, and we’re looking for an OTC Accountant to help maintain seamless financial operations by processing transactions, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely and accurate revenue recognition.
What you’ll do:
Process invoices, receipts, and financial transactions related to revenue and billing, ensuring accurate data entry and reconciliation of customer accounts. Review and resolve open positions in accounts receivable, facilitating payment processes and preparing billing statements. Perform basic analysis of revenue data, identifying discrepancies and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards. Support the month-end close activities, assist with financial reporting, and provide data extracts for audit and compliance requests. Ensure compliance with VAT/sales tax regulations and revenue recognition principles. Collaborate with senior accountants and team lead, supporting revenue recognition processes and contributing to the overall efficiency of financial operations.You’ll be great for this role if:
You have a foundational understanding of revenue recognition principles and billing processes. You have at least 2-3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in Accounts Receivable or Order to Cash processes. You can perform reconciliations and prepare accounting data to support financial reports, audits, and problem-solving. You are proficient in Excel and have a good understanding of accounting software (SAP knowledge is a plus). You have excellent attention to detail, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial data.Why you should join:
