Job Description
We are seeking dedicated POD Base and Shelf Builders to assist in the mechanical assembly of inventory bins at Amazon sites. This role is crucial in upgrading the site to be more automation-friendly. The position involves significant physical activity, including standing, walking, and lifting throughout the day. You will use hand and power tools for assembly and will be responsible for light housekeeping and inventory tasks.
ResponsibilitiesPerform mechanical assembly of PODS (inventory bins) using hand and power tools.Engage in physical activities such as standing, walking, and lifting objects throughout the day.Assist with light housekeeping tasks and inventory management.Document any errors and communicate effectively with team members.Essential SkillsExperience with rivet guns, power tools, and hand tools.Mechanical assembly skills.Ability to lift boxes and perform heavy lifting.Experience in production or construction environments.Additional Skills & QualificationsAttention to detail.Ability to document errors accurately.Strong communication skills.Ability to lift 40lbs regularly.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment is located at Amazon ORF4, 1795 Dam Neck Rd, Virginia Beach, VA. The site is currently in the construction phase, making it a construction work environment with non-climate controlled conditions. Port-a-potties are available on site.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
