Organization Change Manager - Contract

As an Organizational Change Consultant, you will plan, coordinate and lead client centred change activities, and focus on leading transformation adoption, business readiness, executive alignment and communications as part of program and project delivery. This is an 8-month contract position.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Develop and execute OCM strategies and plans to support the implementation of technical projects and business initiatives;
• Define, capture, and understand change impacts including impacts on partners and any barriers that must be overcome (including any behavioral shifts required);
• Act as a trusted advisor to business owners, project leads, managers, contractors, and other partners to implement organizational change activities;
• Continuously improve and update OCM plans and modify activities based on partner feedback and input;
• Plan, implement and support activities as appropriate to project complexity, change impact and partner needs;
• Develop and implement communication plans to support change across multiple organizations and partners with varying priorities;
• Write communications and manage various communication tactics and channels for all levels of audience;
• Develop and implement learning and development plans as required to support acquisition of knowledge & skills related to change plans
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Communications, or relevant field; or equivalent experience;
• Experience creating change management strategies and plans, including stakeholder analysis, risk management and mitigation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a diversity of stakeholders;
• Experience in an operational environment with a strong focus on safety
• PROSCI certification
• A coaching certification would be an asset
• Experience in project management desired, Project Management Professional certification would be an asset
• 10 years leading, developing and implementing change management plans, including 5 years experience in an IT context;
• Proven track record of achieving results in a complex business environment;
• Initiative, drive, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
