Role Summary
The Organization Development (OD) Manager is a key position within T. Rowe Price’s Talent Management & Organizational Effectiveness team responsible for developing and executing strategies to enhance our organizational effectiveness capabilities to drive business results. As OD Manager, you will serve as a trusted advisor to Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) and senior leaders, helping them navigate organizational challenges and optimize team performance. You will partner with key stakeholders to drive organizational effectiveness through strategic design, team development, and change initiatives across our enterprise. This role sits at the intersection of organizational strategy and execution, requiring a seasoned practitioner who can translate complex business needs into practical organizational solutions.
This position offers the opportunity to support transformative initiatives that directly impact business performance and organizational health. The role requires someone who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, demonstrate sophisticated relationship management skills, and navigate complex stakeholder dynamics with ease.
Success in this role requires not only technical expertise in OD methodologies but also strong business acumen, political savvy, and the ability to influence at all levels of the organization. The consultant will need to seamlessly integrate into existing HR partnerships while establishing themselves as a credible expert voice in organizational effectiveness.
Responsibilities
Organization Design & Operating Model
Lead end-to-end organization design projects for multiple business unitsConduct organizational assessments to identify structural opportunities and challengesDesign and facilitate working sessions with senior leaders to develop and refine organizational solutionsCreate detailed implementation plans for organizational changesPartner with HR and business leaders to execute organizational transitionsTeam Effectiveness Root Cause Diagnostics & Interventions
Design and facilitate leadership team effectiveness sessionsConduct comprehensive team diagnostics using multiple methods (interviews, assessments, observations)Perform root cause analysis to identify underlying team dynamics and systemic issuesCreate data-driven insights through synthesis of quantitative and qualitative informationDesign targeted interventions based on diagnostic findingsFacilitate team alignment sessions and conflict resolutionDevelop measurement approaches to track team progressCoach leaders and teams through behavioral changesBuild team capability through skill-building workshops and development planningGuide teams in establishing new ways of working and team operating normsHR Partnership & Stakeholder Management

Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Psychology, Business, or related field or the equivalent combination of relevant experience10+ years of experience in organizational development, with significant focus on org design, change management and strategic planning.Advanced facilitation and consultation skillsStrong project management skills, from concept to planning to implementation and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyDemonstrated ability to influence and advise leaders in a client-facing or consulting rolePreferred:
Masters degree in Organizational Psychology, Business or related field.12+ years of experience in organizational development, with significant focus on org design.Expertise in multiple organization design methodologies and frameworksPrior experience in the Financial Services and/or Consulting IndustryExperience at a senior level in a corporate HR/OD settingCertified in Hogan Personality InventoryDemonstrated success utilizing full range of organization development interventions and change management frameworks and applicationsProven track record of identifying root causes of problems and implementing solutions to achieve desired outcomesFINRA Requirements
FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.
Work Flexibility
This role is eligible for hybrid work, with up to two days per week from home. This role can be based in our Baltimore office location or based in our DC office with required occasional travel to Baltimore.
Base Salary Ranges

$140,000.00 - $239,000.00 for the location of: Maryland, Colorado, Washington and remote workers$154,000.00 - $264,000.00 for the location of: Washington, D.C.
$175,000.00 - $299,000.00 for the location of: New York, California
Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual’s relevant experience and skills for the role. Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.
