The Dean’s Office in the Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences is seeking an Organizational Development Specialist responsible for trainings, process improvements, and analyses within the school. Incumbent will implement and evaluate training programs for the faculty and staff in the Dietrich School and College of General Studies. Develop and deliver trainings on a variety of topics, including supervision. Conduct evaluations to enhance offerings. Incumbent will work with the Director on staff analyses, conducting process mapping, and implementing findings from the analyses. The Specialist will also handle administrative functions such as scheduling participants for trainings/programs, serve on the school-wide hiring committee, and collaborate with colleagues to foster an inclusive environment for all Dietrich and CGS employees.
Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred in a related developmental field with three-five years training and development/HR/OD consulting experience. The successful candidate must be able to work independently, use critical thinking skills, strong attention to detail, have exceptional communication skills both verbal and written and excellent presentation and facilitation skills.

Provides functional expertise for needed design and ongoing management solutions. Identifies and analyzes workforce learning and development needs and utilizes the University's mission and values to inform overall strategy and goals. Assists in organizing cross-functional team workshops online and in-person.
