Organizational Development Director

What you'll do As Organizational Development Director, you are a transformative people and change authority who can lead strategic people initiatives that result in meaningful and lasting solutions aligned with our company mission and culture. You will lead the strategy, scoping and execution of critical initiatives that drive high performing and collaborative culture. You will be adept at working across the organization and company at all levels to drive sustainable change and impact. In addition, you will support business and HR leaders by offering OE business consultation to improve the effectiveness of the company through organizational diagnosis of people, systems and structure. You will facilitate leaders through the design and development of OE solutions to deliver on business strategy using optimized business processes. This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the VP, Learning and Organization Effectiveness. Responsibility Lead the strategy, design, and company-wide execution of embedding company values and behaviors into every step in the employee lifecycle and aligning to a broader company talent strategy, workplace efforts and culture initiatives Partner deeply with collaborators across the People Team including L&OD, Talent Programs, Workplace Experience, HR Business Partners and DEI to build scalable and sustainable solutions that bring our values to life in practice Consult with business and HR leaders to support strategic efforts Conduct comprehensive organizational assessments to pinpoint opportunities for growth across culture, attitudes, and behaviors Collaborate with business leaders to define organizational visions, design principles, and strategic roadmaps Design scalable, high-impact organizational solutions (structures, roles, processes, capabilities) tailored to evolving business needs Partner with leaders to optimize organizational performance, drive high-performing teams, and lead large-scale changes Guide senior teams in resolving role ambiguities, process inefficiencies, and other organizational challenges Lead the design and delivery of enterprise-wide organizational effectiveness experiences, services, and tools Leverage data and insights to drive continuous improvement of organizational solutions and increase transformation success Job Designation Remote: Employee is not required to be in or near an office frequently and works from a designated remote work location for the majority of the time. Positions at Docusign are assigned a job designation of either In Office, Hybrid or Remote and are specific to the role/job. Preferred job designations are not guaranteed when changing positions within Docusign. What you bring Basic Bachelor's degree or equivalent in relevant people or organizational development 15+ years of working in organizational development Preferred MA/MSC degree or equivalent in relevant people or organizational development Proven track record of leading complex, cross-functional critical initiatives Extensive experience guiding teams at all levels through behavioral change Experience in building, delivering and facilitating workshops and training sessions Track record of partnering with organizational collaborators to drive clarity and alignment Ability to scope and solve problems balancing immediate and longer term needs Role model collaboration, decision making and communication Wage Transparency Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations: California: $171,500.00 - $277,025.00 base salary Illinois and Colorado: $164,800.00 - $232,750.00 base salary Washington, New Jersey and New York (including NYC metro area): $164,800.00 - $242,225.00 base salary Washington DC: $171,500.00 - $242,225.00 base salary This role is also eligible for the following: Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan, which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance. Stock: This role is eligible to receive Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
