Organizational Development Specialist

Pay Rate: $66,498 | Hybrid Schedule of 80% On-Site and 20% Remote | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-4:30PM
**Job Purpose or Objective(s):** The OD Specialist is responsible for the effective and consistent coordination and implementation of HR processes, functions, and procedures while monitoring HR projects and workflow. On a regular and continuous basis, exercises administrative judgment on establishing departmental goals, standards, policies, and procedures.
**Primary Tasks:**
1. Assess HR operational needs and change policies and procedures in order to ensure efficiency and seamless delivery of services across the organization.
2. Develop and support Succession Planning, IDP, and Performance Management initiatives and track progress with key metrics.
3. Act as a subject matter expert regarding policies and procedures to provide consistent interpretation/application of HR policies, programs, practices, and procedures across the organization.
4. Identify optimal solutions to meet the needs of HR functions by recommending process improvements, system enhancements and alternatives based on specific needs.
5. Maintain knowledge of HR metrics and business metrics, including KPIs and relationships between one another.
6. Develop and perform change management strategies, plans and tools to assist management and associates adapt to complex organizational changes.
7. Collect and analyze data from various HR systems, conduct studies, perform research, and prepare reports to aid management in strategic decision making.
8. Maintain document control of forms, policies, and procedures, etc.
9. Execute ad hoc requests and assist with special projects and other initiatives as needed.
10. Perform other duties as may be assigned.
**Requirements:**
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Business, HR, Communications, Organizational Development or related field or 4 years related experience.
+ Ability to interpret, create, and incorporate HR policies and procedures into practice.
+ Ability to always maintain confidentiality.
+ Advanced proficiency using Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
+ Must have strong proficiency in the functional use of key business applications.
+ Ability to translate HR operational needs and requirements to others. Maintaining a high level of professionalism in all situations work related.
+ Knowledge of principles of office organization and principles of management.
+ Working knowledge of current Talent Management Best Practices
+ Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, orally and in writing.
+ Five (5) years of experience in a variety of Human Resource (Learning and Development, Organization Development, Leadership Development, Talent Management) positions with increasing scope
