Job Purpose and Impact

The Originator will provide origination support to drive continued business growth in the assigned geography. In this role, you will actively participate in exploring moderately complex commercial opportunities with the origination team and in maintaining existing relationships with key customers.

Key AccountabilitiesDevelop new customer relationships and cultivate existing ones.Develop new and innovative financial solutions, including negotiating moderately complex financing structure and terms with customers.Collaborate with senior originators and relevant teams to ensure a thorough review and efficient approval process for implementing moderately complex trade and capital markets structured products.Collaborate with business groups on moderately complex financing opportunities with their external counterparties.Collaborate with functional and commercial teams to prospect market and industry research leading to profitable growth opportunities.Independently perform moderately complex financial analysis.Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.Other duties as assignedQualificationsMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experienceTrack record of having developed successful commercial relationships with clientsMinimum of 3 years of related work experience.Strong soft skills - good attention to details, self-driven, stress management, broad perspective.Preferred QualificationsUnderstanding of market economics and relevant regulationsUnderstanding of corporate and trade finance and credit risk
