The role you’ll contribute:
Identifying Strengths & Weaknesses of Doctors, Staff, Patient Experience and Hospital procedures and protocols. Improving Health Care Quality and Efficiency through engagement of medical staff and patients from Pre-Op to Post-Op. Act as clinical liaison among physicians, nursing staff, and administrative staff.

Reviewsscheduledpatientstoensureappropriate educational material, patient assessments/questionnaires, and pre-surgical care coordination occurs according to established timelines and algorithms.
Abletoinitiate,identify,anddevelop/modifyindividualplansofcare,asneeded,incoordinationwithappropriateorthopedic program team members. Evaluates patients' developmental level, identifies physical/emotional needs that may affect treatment, and evaluates support system needs to enhance patient care and outcomes. Initiatesage-appropriatecare,asrequired.Ensuresthatpatients'physical, mental, and spiritual needs are met by coordination with appropriate healthcare team members.
Communicates effectively with physicians, healthcare team, patients, and families to ensure coordinated and cohesive executionofevidencebasedqualitypatientcare;effectively/consistentlyfacilitateswithmembersofthehealthcareteam to develop treatment plans, increase patient satisfaction, and address specific patient concerns, establishes/maintains a therapeutic relationship with patients /families.
Develops, coordinates, and documents patient education and care. Serves as a primary ongoing resource for patients andfamiliesduringtheirdiagnosisandtreatmentperiod;assessespatients'learningstyleandhealthliteracytoprovide education on the appropriate patient level.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a healthcare setting, of which a minimum of 1 years. spent in an acute care setting caring for orthopedic surgery patients.
Experiencewithprojectsorprogramstart-up.
Experiencewithpatient/staffeducation.
Valid Colorado RN license.
BLS.
