Join our collaborative Orthopedic surgery team to support growth in our Eden Prairie market

Full-time is considered 0.75-1.0 FTE (patient contact hours adjust accordingly)

Exempt position

8-hr Day shifts

Weekend rotation: on-call

Current call rotation: 1 in every 9 weeks

Initial guarantee salary, then move to production/wRVU modeL

Job Description:

Principle Responsibilities

Provides direct patient care for musculoskeletal patients.Provides education, consultation or intervention to patients (treatment plan) and their families.Injection clinics plus collaboration with urgent cares for musculoskeletal patients is expected.Provides clinical care, surgical intervention plus outside event coverage.May provide care in an ambulatory clinic, inpatient or outpatient hospital setting.May have clinical duties which could include new patient triage for sports medicine or orthopedic patients.


Job Requirements

Doctoral/Ph.D. level advanced degree in Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine or foreign equivalent from an approved school of medicine requiredCompletion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) accredited Residency training program in Orthopedic Surgery required0 to 2 years of demonstrated experience in designated specialty area required and0 to 2 years of experience in research, presentations and sideline coverage preferredLicensed Physician - MN Board of Medical Practice required and must be board certified or be eligible for board certification within designated specialty upon hire andACLS-BLS Tier 3 - Multisource required within 180 Days
