Job Description:
Northwestern Medical Center is actively seeking a skilled and highly motivated Board-Certified Total Joints Orthopedic Surgeon to join our dynamic Northwestern Orthopedics practice in 2025. This position presents a prime opportunity for a talented surgeon to integrate into a thriving practice with a supportive and experienced group of Surgeons and Providers.
This turn-key practice offers ample volume and strong practice support, ensuring a steady and rewarding workflow that allows you to excel in your specialty while being well-compensated. Our upgraded operating rooms are equipped with all new LED lights, dual monitors for integrated PACs, new equipment booms, Velys robot and Stryker integration across our 3 large and 2 smaller operating rooms.
Responsibilities:
+ Perform total joint replacement surgeries with a focus on patient safety and outcomes.
+ Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the best patient care experience.
+ Utilize advanced operating room technologies and equipment.
+ Participate in primetime block OR scheduling, typically 2 days per week.
+ Be a part of a 1:5 call schedule.
+ Provide education and guidance to support staff to foster a positive learning environment.
+ Stay updated with the latest advancements in orthopedic surgery and techniques.
Requirements:
+ Board certification in Orthopedic Surgery with a focus on total joints.
+ Valid state medical license (or eligibility to obtain).
+ Strong surgical skills and a commitment to patient care and outcomes.
+ Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities.
