About this role: 

As an Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon/Traumatologist at Intermountain Health, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role you can expect to split time with the Utah Valley Hospital Orthopedic Trauma Services team, which currently consists of 2 fellowship trained surgeon, 2 APP's, and additional support staff.

 In this role, you can anticipate:

Practicing from Utah Valley Hospital and Utah Valley Orthopedic Clinic in Provo, UtahDedicated daily, fully staffed, orthopedic trauma roomDedicated clinic and OR daysWeekday orthopedic trauma hospital shifts, with unrestricted night, weekend, and holiday hospital callAdvanced Practice Provider (APP) support in clinic and OR; APP will take first call when on shiftHelping Utah Valley Hospital, currently a level II trauma center, move to a level I trauma designation

An ideal candidate will practice with a team-based approach to care and referrals, as well as have special interest in teaching/academics to support new medical school at Brigham Young University (medical school recently announced).

What you’ll bring: 

MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine ACGME accredited residency training in Orthopedic Surgery Fellowship trained in Orthopedic Trauma SurgeryActive, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one BLS certification and DEA Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process We are not able to accept candidates requiring Visa sponsorship at this time

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. 

$7.25 - $999.99
