**Overview**
Dignity Health Medical Group – Dominican is seeking a team oriented, **Orthopedic Physician Assistant** to join our collegial practice in Santa Cruz, CA. We are a multi-specialty group with more than 100 physicians, physician assistants and nurse practitioners that is a physician led and patient centered organization. We are affiliated with Dominican Hospital (http://dominicanhospital.org/) and aligned with one of the largest nonprofit health systems in the nation and the largest hospital system in California.

+ Work closely with and assist with the lead physician when he's on a 1:7 week call, including nights and weekends

+ **_Compensation Range: $124,800 - $140,684/year_**

**Responsibilities**
**Patient Assessment and Diagnosis:**
+ Conduct comprehensive health assessments.
+ Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses.
+ Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
**Treatment Planning and Management:**
+ Develop and implement patient care plans.
+ Prescribe medications and therapies.
+ Provide health promotion and disease prevention education.
**Collaboration and Consultation:**
+ Collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
+ Consult with physicians and specialists as needed.
**Qualifications**
+ A valid and unrestricted license to practice in the State of California
+ Nationally recognized certification (as determined by Medicare)
+ Completion of state mandated educational courses
**Pay Range**
$60.00 - $67.63 /hourly
