Job Description

Summary:  To handle all payment transactions for all foods and/or beverages purchased in the hotel's restaurants, and to greet and seat guests.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Greet guests when entering the restaurant with a pleasant smile and superior customer serviceSeat guests by finding a clean, available table, pulling out chairs, and placing clean menu in front of guestAnswer phone and record reservations in accordance to MOS standards and/or Forbes standardsControl high volume outside of restaurantMonitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety and well being of guestsAssist servers when neededThank every guest upon departure, invite them to return, and wish them a fond farewellAssist service operations Must have full familiarity with menus Qualifications

Requirements:

Be committed to providing exceptional customer serviceMust have strong verbal and written communication skillPrior host experience preferredMust be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10lbs without assistanceFlexible Scheduling to include nights, weekends, and holidaysMust have alcohol training certification (TABC) and food handlers training certification
