OT Cyber Security Engineer

We are looking for an OT Cyber Security Engineer to join our team! This role ensures the security, integrity, and reliability of Lendlease's operational technology systems. This includes vulnerability identification, infrastructure monitoring, and developing risk mitigation strategies, policy and standard creation, all while adhering to OT cyber security best practices. This position is crucial for maintaining operational safety, reliability, and supporting business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies for OT systems.Consult on framework selection and deploymentDeploy, and maintain OT systems for Lendlease projects, including building management systems (BMS), energy management systems (EMS), security systems, and IoT networks.Serve as a liaison between IT, OT, and facilities teams to ensure adherence to security best practices.Promote security awareness among OT system users.Collaborate with engineering and cyber security architects to design secure OT architectures.Act as a liaison between IT, OT, and facilities teams to ensure security best practices are followed.Execute OT incident response processes and coordinate security incident efforts.Investigate and address OT security breaches, working with security teams to monitor for anomalies.Manage and maintain OT security tools.Assist in testing, troubleshooting, and optimizing OT systems for performance and security.Maintain an OT asset inventory and their security classifications.Implement and enforce strong identity and access management for OT systems.Coordinate vendor firmware updates and patches, minimizing downtime.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, etc.).5 + years of experience in IT/OT security or related field, with a preference for experience in retail, commercial, or industrial building technologies.Experience with security best practices, risk assessments, and incident response.Strong understanding of building automation systems, network security, and endpoint protection.Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Relevant cyber security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, SANS GIAC).Experience with vulnerability scanning and penetration testing tools.Experience with OT security monitoring platforms.
