About the Role

Our clients is seeking a highly skilled Operational Technology (OT) Networking Administrator to support and optimize our OT infrastructure, ensuring reliable connectivity across a wide range of network environments. The ideal candidate will have strong networking expertise, creative troubleshooting skills, and experience managing various WAN technologies in an OT setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain OT network infrastructure, ensuring security and reliability.

Manage firewalls (Cisco, Palo Alto, Red Lion) and network segmentation between OT and corporate environments.

Oversee and troubleshoot long-distance fiber connectivity, as well as cellular, microwave, DSL, and Starlink communications.

Support and maintain AMI (Advanced Metering Infrastructure) networks, ensuring stable connectivity for meters across fiber, cellular, and microwave.

Maintain and optimize Ciena cellular equipment and related network components.

Provide knowledge transfer and create comprehensive documentation for OT networking practices.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance OT network security and performance.

Qualifications & Experience:

5+ years of experience in OT networking, preferably in the power, utility, or industrial sector.

Expertise in WAN technologies, including fiber, cellular, microwave, DSL, and satellite (Starlink).

Strong background in configuring and managing firewalls (Cisco, Palo Alto, Red Lion).

Familiarity with Ciena cellular equipment and Cisco OT networking solutions.

Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently and solve complex network issues.

Excellent documentation skills and the ability to train and mentor team members.
