**Job Description:**
Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex OT infrastructure and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems. This role ensures the security, reliability, and scalability of OT systems while aligning solutions with organizational goals. The position also involves mentoring team members, collaborating across departments, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance infrastructure performance and operational efficiency.
**Note:**
There is one position available and the position will be filled at one of four job grade levels: OT Systems Architect I, job grade 6; OT Systems Architect II, job grade 7, OT Systems Architect III, job grade 9; or Senior OT System Architect, job grade 10. This decision will be based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate selected, and Tri-State business needs at the time of hire.

**Senior OT Systems Architect**
Hiring Salary Range: $106,700-135,550
**OT Systems Architect III**
Hiring Salary Range: $96,000-$121,050
**OT Systems Architect II**
Hiring Salary Range: $77,800-$96,500
**OT Systems Architect I**
Hiring Salary Range: $70,000-$86,150
Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary outside of the posted hiring salary range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Design, implement, and maintain virtualization platforms to ensure scalability, high availability, and efficient resource allocation.
+ Establish and maintain architecture models, including Linux Security Policies and Active Directory Group Policies, to align with organizational standards.
+ Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies to enhance system capabilities and address future operational demands.
+ Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to OT infrastructure hardware and software to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
+ Perform timely patch management and implement updates and configurations to safeguard infrastructure systems.
+ Coordinate with vendors for advanced support and system repairs when necessary.
+ Implement and monitor robust cybersecurity controls, ensuring compliance with NERC CIP and other relevant industry standards.
+ Conduct regular audits, log reviews, and security assessments to detect, respond to, and mitigate potential threats.
+ Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes and incorporate best practices into system management.
+ Mentor and guide team members to enhance their technical expertise and promote a collaborative, innovative culture.
+ Lead infrastructure optimization projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and efficient use of resources.
+ Develop and execute disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
+ Partner with other technology, operations, and compliance teams to align infrastructure support with business needs and ensure service continuity.
+ Act as a liaison between technical teams and leadership, communicating complex concepts clearly and effectively.
+ Prepare and present detailed reports on system performance, project progress, and compliance status to stakeholders.
+ Ensure high system uptime, reliability, and scalability through proactive monitoring and optimization.
+ Track and report key performance indicators, including compliance audit results, response times to incidents, and infrastructure availability.
+ Maintain detailed documentation of systems, configurations, processes, and incident responses to support operational continuity.
+ Identify opportunities for improvement and recommend strategies to enhance system performance.
+ Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures and attain knowledge and remain knowledgeable of regulations, laws, standards, and best practices applicable to functional area.
+ Because Tri-State has an obligation to provide continuous, reliable electric service to its customers, the ability to work overtime at any time of the day or week is considered an essential function of the job.

**Qualifications:**
Education and Training:
+ Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, electrical engineering, or a related field.
+ An MS, MBA, or related advanced degree desired.
