As a member of the MMOTA (Multi Module Over-The-Air Software Updates) Automation Test Team, Automation Lab Engineers will focus on ensuring the health of the automation lab that facilitates the automated testing of the SW Updates functionality of the latest automotive, infotainment, and connectivity ECUs (embedded control units).
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or a related field. 2+ year experience in Object-oriented SW development including unit testing. (coursework and/or research allowed). Basic understanding of Linux commands and/or bash/shell scripting, SSH, etc. Basic understanding of Windows commands.Analytical with the ability to root-cause problems creatively and effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
Good wired and wireless network troubleshooting skills (familiarity with networking components, protocols/standards, etc.) Experience with defect tracking systems (ie: JIRA), and source code versioning control systems (GitHub) Experience with CI/CD (continuous integration/continuous deployment) systems (ie: Jenkins).Strong verbal and written communication skills
