OTC Analyst

Position Duties:

Collect payments from national and/or international accounts to mitigate risk, uncover trends, and determine and report on adverse risk exposure.Primary responsible for monitoring customer invoice uploads, status and troubleshooting with portals.Maintenance, updating of customers' accounting accounts and monitoring and closing of inconveniences and gaps in the process aligned with interrelated areas, if necessary, make the respective escalations to the OTC Leader.Perform reconciliations of assigned customer accounts to determine the actual balances of their accounts receivable.Review and monitoring of the process of releasing customer orders and blocks, based on monitoring the assigned credit limits and managing the review in a period of no more than 24 hours.Adequate and timely maintenance of the payment record in the AR of the assigned customers and ensuring their correct application and monitoring.Monitoring, recommendations and participation in AR improvement processes.Execute the DOA, for all authorizations of credit limits and order releases.Send customers' account statements periodically.Participate in teamwork activities across all functional areas of the companies, to improve processes related to OTC.Perform and manage dispute resolution with customers.Follow up and resolve customer disputes, by telephone, video conferences, e-mail and the necessary meetings to close topics that affect collection or AR.Additional duties required by the operation or by management.Proactive meeting attendance and schedule sessions for issues resolutions.

Secondary responsabilities

Work as a team with the Sales, PTP, Customer Service, Master Data areas, to improve AR processes (DSO and WCT).Work closely with customers to obtain the appropriate documentation necessary to carry out the ERP compensation processes, resolving open balances and ensuring the credibility of the AR information.Realize necessary training to the OTC team or other areas of the business if necessary.

Position Requirements:

Professional in Business, Accounting, Finance or at least 4 years of experience in a Collections position, managing portfolios.Excellent collection techniques and knowledge of AR conciliationMulti – tasks and analysis toolsEnglish: level C1.  Proficiency utilizing various software applications is required as job responsibilities include significant use of SAP, MS OfficeExcellent verbal and written communicationStrong skills demonstrated to interact with different areas and stakeholders’ management. Local languages as needed.Leadership capabilities focused on problem solvingStrong tools and ability to work as a team with OTC related areas.Must possess the ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
