OTC Principal Analyst
**Principal Business Analyst – SAP S4 OTC** **Job Summary** The primary responsibility of the Senior Business Analyst – SAP S4 OTC (Order-To-Cash) is the analysis and resolution of complex, cross-module, functional SAP issues in Order-To-Cash Process. The role performs root-cause-analysis, targeted end-user training and provides consulting services to Design and/ or Project and/ or Technical Teams. This role will provide leadership and expertise to junior members of the team and drives identification of opportunities for the effective use of SAP-related technology and the implementation of SAP-related solutions. **Job Duties** + Functions as the primary production support contact for OTC operations – spanning across SAP modules: Sales and Distribution (Customer Service and Distribution Centers) and (limited) Finance, and business user communities (end-users, key-users, process owners). + Act as primary SAP support team Subject Matter Expert for business functions using SAP S/4 logic in sales and distribution. Additional key technology functions also include support for EDI. + Provide leadership across organizations related to SAP S/4HANA Production support and problem resolution. + Serve as liaison between the support SAP team and other internal IT organizations and technical groups like BASIS and Technical/ Development Team to resolve complex issues. + Review the resolution and proposed solutions for business and assess their technical impact and to determine if overall results and objectives have been achieved in accordance with the existing global template and regulatory standards. + Ensure service level management (SLA) compliance through the application of functional and technical expertise, delivering efficient application maintenance and support while confirming adherence to all business, compliance, security, and regulatory requirements in a validated environment. + Ensure change control, access control, and landscape management processes are followed. + Evaluates and decides on approval for moving support-driven changes to production. + Participate in other project/ enhancement assignments as needed. Monitor, document, and respond to cross functional interdependencies, common implementation problems, and the opportunities for improvement resulting in successful Hypercare and efficient/ effective transition to steady state post Go Live of major SAP projects, upgrades, rollouts, and enhancements. + Monitor system performance and system alerts and respond accordingly. **Minimum Education Qualifications/Experience** + A recognized bachelor’s degree qualification + 7+ years of experience in SAP S/4 Sales and Distribution, EDI/E-Commerce along with experience in project delivery of all phases of software development lifecycle. + Hands-on expertise (customization or configuration) in SAP S/4 HANA SD - Order Management, International Trade, Pricing, Chargebacks and Rebates, and Advance Returns Management + Good understanding of Integration of SAP S/4 HANA SD with other relevant modules + First-hand experience in template design and business consulting + First-hand experience with SAP S/4HANA Platform is a must. **Technical and Functional Experience Required** + Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization. Maintain highest standards of customer service and business professionalism. + Comprehensive understanding of SAP-based operations processes used in the company’s business model. + Able to develop user stories and requirements in collaboration with global, multi-division business model, backend systems, technologies, and architecture. + Has technical product knowledge or specific domain expertise with SAP S/4HANA, as well as subject matter knowledge within products and business processes related to Sales functionality. + Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and work collaboratively with development teams. + Good knowledge of following: + SAP S/4 SD with integration of FI/CO/MM/WM + SAP S/4 Sales functionality + SAP EDI and Ecommerce integrations with SAP and functionality (e.g., 850, 855, 856, 810, etc.) + SAP S/4 Logistics Execution functionality. + Extensive configuration/customizing knowledge of SAP S/4HANA SD/FSCM which includes: + Enterprise Structure Definition and assignment + Customer Master + Material Master + Customer Material information record + Plant determination + Partner determination + Shipping point determination + Item category determination + Schedule line category determination + Hierarchical and Classical Pricing + Pricing procedure determination + Output determination + Sales, shipping and billing process + Advance ATP + Special transactions like free goods determination, material exclusion/listing, cash sales, rush order and material determination, intercompany sales, stock transfer and billing, rebate processing, credit/debit memo + Extensive Knowledge of Special transactions, which includes: + Free goods determination + Material exclusion/listing + Cross selling and material determination + Inquiry processing + Intercompany sales + Scheduling Agreement + Stock transfer and billing + Settlement management + Credit/debit memo processing + Advance Return Processing + Backorder Processing (BOP) e.g. Monitor BOP, Configure BOP Segment, Configure BOP Variant + Dispute management e.g. create Dispute case + Credit exposure, Automatic Credit check, Credit rule + Manage collection e.g. Collection worklist, Generate Collection Worklist + SAP S/4 Sales and Distribution tables structures. + Embargo and Legal control, License Management, and Customs Management - License Management and its integration with Export (Sales) processes. + Experience in SAP BRFAn Equal Opportunity Employer.
