Job title – OU Marketing & Business Development Manager Swine
Location – Northern Europe (Nordic countries, UK & Ireland, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Switzerland)
Job model – Hybrid, preferably on site

 

We are looking for a technically focused Marketing & Business Development Manager to join the business and lead the Operating Unit species segment from a strategic and technical perspective. You will develop species solutions, concept and narratives that create additional value for customers and drive marketing campaigns to generate profitable growth underpinned by sales of specialty products and nutritional solutions in Northern Europe.

Your key responsibilities:

•    Deeply understand the various local species markets, customer needs and business drivers
•    Co-develop the Operating Unit swine strategy, set priorities to develop species activation plans and engage in account development activities in close alignment with the local markets, and regional and global teams
•    Develop differentiated nutrition and health solution concepts substantiated by technical data and convincing argumentation
•    Execute species campaigns and activation plans by packaging these solutions into unique value propositions and sales-enabling material with the local sales teams
•    Manage local species expert community and conduct training and knowledge sharing
•    Own and project manage species-driven innovation projects and projects as part of regional fees and grants
•    Establish and further develop your external profile as leading expert in the swine industry through engagement in industry conferences, symposia and fairs

You bring:

•    Strong technical, nutritional and health background in swine
•    Business background and/or interest in commercial business development.
•    Understanding of marketing concepts, tools and practices in a technical, solution selling environment
•    Deep industry and technical species expertise
•    Technical marketing experience of at least 5 years
•    Master’s degree in animal nutrition or related field
•    Ability to translate technical needs, opportunities and facts into business language
•    Ability to identify commercial opportunities and interact with key accounts in a highly consultative, solution sales approach
•    Ability and interest to interact on scientific levels and establish external profile as an industry expert
