Out of Home Care Supervisor (Orange/Osceola)
Salary: $57,000/yr Position Summary: The Out of Home Care (OOHC) Supervisor leads, guides, and directs the OOHC Specialists in securing timely and efficient placement of children in licensed out of home care. The OOHC Supervisor directly supervises OOHC Specialists and provides p roactive coaching and feedback to ensure professional development and growth of direct reports. This position f acilitates daily team hurdles to assess placement needs, assign tasks and disseminates information while ensuring compliance with contractual, regulatory, program, and accrediting body standards. This includes completion of all administrative functions and Binti and FSFN documentation within required time frames. The OOHC Supervisor ensures follow up and outreach for placements to support and maintain positive relationships within the System of Care. This position participates in the 2nd tier On Call Rotation. Technical/Functional Expectations: Leadership-Essential Function: Problem solves, engages team, and assists with complex cases, multiple placements, significant behavioral and/or mental health needs, history of placement distribution, sibling groups etc. to ensure staff feel supported and that children are appropriately, safely placed. Collaboration and Communication - Essential Function: Strong Collaboration and communication with foster parents, group home providers, Case Management staff, Guardian Ad Items, and other stakeholders and provider networks to proactively engage and share information transparently to maintain open communication and support. Administrative Oversight - Essential Function: Ensure each child has a completed Child Placement Agreement and OOHC staff complete timely documentation in FSFN and Binti on communication, outreach, and all placement efforts. Placement Tracking-- Essential Function: Ensure data entry is accurate and completed daily in the Placement Log to reflect all current costs of care. Other duties as required: Job performance requires fulfilling other incidental or related duties as assigned, assisting, and training others, and performing duties of higher rated positions from time to time for developmental purposes. Business Experience: 1. Child Welfare 3-5 years: This position requires a broad knowledge of Child Welfare policy, procedures, and best practices. 2. Supervisory - 1 + years: This position supervises a team of OOHC Specialists, 3. Valid Driver's License -Required to travel throughout the County and other locations for client and other meetings Educational and Experience Requirements: BA/BS - bachelor’s degree or equivalent required. MA/MS - master’s degree or equivalent preferred.
