ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Outbound Manager, the Outbound Senior will have the following responsibilities:
Assist management with planning and leading teamsIdentify and report damages, shortages or overages on unloaded trucksMentor, coach and give performance feedback to employees and assist management in facilitating employee developmentLoading and unloading of trucksPicking and put-away of all product typesMaintain a thorough knowledge of all stock, stock locations, model numbers, manufacturer specifications and handling instructionsVerify and report on inventory; ensure accuracy in the generation of reportsProcess store entry stock transfersEnsure compliance with all company health and safety, security and operational policies and procedures Qualifications Knowledge and use of equipment such as; Power Cart, Order picker, RF scanner, as well as forkliftMaintain proficient knowledge of department systems and proceduresProficient level on WMS systems and procedures is considered an assetProficient verbal and written English communication skills Must be able to lift 50 lbs plusProficient knowledge of safe material handling techniques Leadership and process improvement Takes charge and good team attitudeMinimum 6 months working experience in a Warehousing/Distribution environment Minimum 6 months working experience in a computerized inventory controlled environment Flexibility to work any shift, including evenings and weekends Why The Brick?
