Outcomes Assessment Specialist
**39134BR** **Extended Job Title:** Outcomes Assessment Specialist **Position Description:** The Outcomes Assessment Specialist (OAS) is responsible for working directly with faculty to create effective assessments within the Texas Tech University School of Veterinary Medicine (TTU SVM). This job would involve working closely with faculty to develop, edit, create, administer, and analyze examinations. The candidate will also work closely with students, providing information regarding testing procedures and requirements. **Requisition ID:** 39134BR **Travel Required:** None **Major/Essential Functions:** + Review exam questions (proofreading, formatting, categorizing, question type) and input assessments. + Liaise with faculty, students, and staff to ensure all reasonable accommodation needs are met. + Proctor assessments. + Run exam scores, secure faculty approval, and finalize exam grades. + Prepare reports, summaries, or replies to inquiries by compiling data and statistics from various departmental resources. + Adhere to privacy, security, and confidentiality measures regarding student records and other sensitive information in accordance with university, state and federal regulations, policies and procedures. + Work with faculty, staff, and students to schedule remediation assessments (appropriate time, location and assessment measures). + Inform students on testing related needs (exam software download and updates) and protocols. + Establish gradebooks that align with published course syllabi. + Manage the SVM peer to peer student tutoring program. + Set up calendar invites and notices for exams for all faculty each semester. + Participate in committees as requested. + Perform other duties as assigned.
