Position Statement 

\n

The Outlet Manager, Ginger Lily, is concerned with the strategic management of the lobby lounge and bar, in line with prescribed Hilton policies and procedures.

\n

What will I be doing?  

\n

As the Outlet Manager, Ginger Lily, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

\n\nMaintain a high customer service focus by approaching your job with the customers always in mind.\nDevelop and propose a range of creative and premium beverage to the Director/ Assistant Director of F&B that appeals to guests.\nManage a portfolio of guests ensuring efforts are directed at capitalising all revenue generating opportunities.\nActively seek verbal feedback from guests and team members at each service period.\nPropose and implement actions to make improvements to guest service.\nPositively deal with and learn from guest complaints and comments with follow-up, and feedback to the Assistant Director / Director of Food & Beverage.\nBe proactive towards guests, assisting them with any reasonable requests, and train all team member to anticipate guests needs.\nMonitor standards through regular standards review checks.\nDevelop action plans to address shortfalls in standards and identify shortfalls before they affect customer service.\nEnsure that the shift is reviewed, and handovers and briefings are carried out.\nMaintain in-depth technical knowledge and skills required for the job.\nEstablish good communication with the Kitchen team.\nMaintain event and function histories to assist with returning events.\nParticipate in future menu changes with the Director of Food & Beverage and the Director of Culinary, taking into consideration new F&B trends, market demands and sales achievements.\nAttend and participate in regular F&B operational meetings.\nKeep the team up to date on departmental, hotel and company activities through regular communication meetings and memos, including special events and promotions in the restaurant.\nSeek out and maximize departmental and hotel revenue opportunities.\nCreate and implement sales promotions and team member incentives as per discussion with the Director of F&B.\nRecommend promotional activities to the Director of F&B/ Assistance Director of F&B to generate increased revenue and stimulate increased market activity.\nIdentify, communicate and act on potential sales leads.\nForecast potential revenues and costs, able to analyse and explain any financial variance against plan.\nMarketing and Promotions to develop strategies to promote the outlet and its offerings to guests, including social media and in house guest.\nManage promotional campaigns within the hotel.\nCoordinate and manage special/ buy out event ensuring successful execution and guest satisfaction.\nRetail Management (Mooncake, CNY and Festive).\n

\n\n2 to 4 years managerial position in a 4 / 5-star category hotel.\nPossess a valid food hygiene certificate.\nUpkeep with the fast-moving F&B trend in the market.\nMotivated and committed, approaching all tasks with enthusiasm and seize opportunities to learn new skills or knowledge in order to improve personal performance.\nFlexible and responds quickly and positively to changing requirements including the performance of any tasks requested of you.\nMaintain high team focus by showing cooperation and support to colleagues in the pursuit of team goals.\nStrong leadership, people management and training skills.\nThorough knowledge of restaurant operations including food, beverages, supervisory aspects, service techniques, and guest interaction.\nAble to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations during busy periods.\n\n
