Job Description
As a Bookings Administration Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting all booking enquiries, converting them to appointments for outpatients. You will provide high levels of customer service when handling enquiries and providing quotes to potential Ramsay patients. Keeping detailed and accurate records to ensure all bookings are managed effectively and within an appropriate time scale.
This role may involve agile working: providing you with the ability to work at home and within our offices at Rivers Hospital.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
Handle all enquiries and book appointments, whether by telephone, email and postal promptly and efficiently for outpatients (Private and NHS)
Provide detailed information to patient enquiries delivering excellent customer service
Develop and maintain good working relationships with all internal departments within Rivers Hospital.
Maintain clinics and associated admin
Ensure worklists on ER-S addressed and referrals managed in a timely manner
Build and maintain excellent relationships with consultants and medical secretaries to ensure appointments are converted
Maintain contact with potential patients to ensure they are satisfied with the progress on their enquiry
Liaise with GP Practices regarding referrals
