Job Summary
SummaryManage operational, clinical, fiscal, marketing, human resource management and quality management responsibilities for the pediatric outpatient programs in Charlestown, Lexington, and Salem. Participate in quality improvement and program development activities. Provide consultative services to therapists to achieve stated goals for performance. Participate in development and assurance of general and program specific competencies as it relates to the patient population served. Assume a leadership role for the marketing, human resource management and quality management initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Team members are hired, oriented, mentored and supported to achieve stated goals for performance. Performance evaluations are completed accurately and timely in accordance with organization standards.
Patient care is provided as needed per Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech Language Pathologist job description.
Therapists are mentored to achieve professional standards of practice per network and facility policies and procedures.
Academic roles and research are fostered within the rehabilitation team.
Quality of care goals are communicated, progress continuously monitored, resources secured, and improvement action plans implemented.
Rehabilitation liaison services provided for medical practice support operations to achieve department objectives.
Appointment scheduling and registration processes are established and maintained to achieve efficiency and customer service goals.
Patient satisfaction and productivity goals are managed and achieved. Gaps are identified and improvement plans are put in place.
Program evaluation, utilization review and quality improvement studies are supervised and action plans implemented.
Staff and physician billing are monitored for accuracy and compliance with third party requirements.
Strategic planning input is provided to achieve department and organization goals.
Overall educational needs of staff are identified and priorities are determined and implemented.
Program based marketing plan is developed with key stakeholders, routinely evaluated, and improved.
Program based marketing efforts are supported to achieve stated objectives.
Additional department, organization or network activities are completed per established objectives.

Qualifications
Education/DegreeRequiredAdvanced degree in therapy (PT, OT, or SLP)Experience RequiredMinimum of 5 years direct patient care experience, preferably in outpatient rehabilitation setting.
