Must have an Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program. Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain a PTA license in the state where services will be provided within the first 90 days of employment. CPR certification is required or must be obtained within the first 90 days. All certifications and licensure must be maintained according to their expiration dates.
Membership in the American Physical Therapy Association is preferred.
If assigned to drive a company vehicle, a valid driver's license is required. If using a personal vehicle for work, proof of insurance is also required in addition to a valid driver's license.
While work experience is preferred, it is not required beyond the clinical experience gained during educational training.
Candidates must be able to lift 50 pounds, assist with 100 pounds, and may be required to push up to 300 pounds. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
Willingness to work at other locations as assigned is required.
