POSITION PURPOSE:
Develop and lead market linkages sales operations in order to facilitate offtake of smallholder’s produce via Better Life Farming centers and partner FPOs leading to increase in sustainable income.
YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead sales of service offered to offtakes with defined targets.Map the organizations in the areas of market linkages as prospective Better Life Farming alliance partnersConduct field visit and meet partners to understand the variation in productivity/ risk events/seasonality of selected commoditiesPrepare monthly report on the estimated availability of selected commodity and supply capacity of our network of Better Life Farming centers and partner FPOs across India for market linkagesDevelop month wise procurement calendar with quantity, quality and projected price details for each commodity across Better Life Farming centers and partner FPOs.Map the reach/presence of the prospective offtakes as per the expansion plan of Better Life FarmingPrepare the target partnership landscape and roadmap, based on the Better Life Farming strategy (Crops, geography)Develop the mechanism to maximize the value creation for Better Life Farming alliance partners in short term and long termDevelop a tool kit for the onboarding of the partners onto the Better Life Farming platform , including- MoU, Branding and communication guidance, Cost sharing/onboarding fees, sharing the current progress of the Better Life Farming, etc.Develop a robust governance model to manage the partnership which should include shared KPIs and regular monthly/quarterly calls to track the progress and take timely course correction if needed.WHO YOU ARE
University degree in agriculture.Master’s degree in marketing or business administration would be an added advantageMinimum of 4-5 years of related professional experience in market linkages of various agricultural produce.Sales experience would be an added advantageExcellent organizational, prioritization, communication and presentation skillsAbility to relate well with people at different levels of authority and maintain excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholdersKAY WORKING RELATIONS
