Job Summary: Performs complex administrative tasks using a personal computer. Coordinates office services and administrative activities for Job Corps center; interprets operating policies and Core Values; exercises independent judgment in the resolution of administrative problems.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Assist in provision of presentations to local High Schools, one-stops, et all. In reaching eligible populations.Assist with orientation sessions.Provides campus tours.Assist Outreach and Admissions Counselors (OAC) with initial prospect contact and maintaining contact with prospects, using social media as feasible. Conduct pre-arrival calls to prospective students.Assist with welcome activities for newly arrived students.Conduct pre-90-day focus groups with students and provide feedback to Outreach and Admissions Manager.Assist Outreach and Admissions Counselors with retention activities, including communication with students in unauthorized absence status.Qualifications:
Minimum: High school diploma or high school equivalency.
Preferred: Minimum plus hold a valid drivers license.
Knowledge: Knowledge of Job Corps or similar training program. Knowledge of social media and influencers. Knowledge of IT and smart phone applications. Knowledge/experience with MS PowerPoint and Publisher.
