As an Outreach Coordinator, you will support commercial utility programs, working closely with the utility client and ICF’s implementation team to bring energy efficiency and bill savings to their customers through the EmPOWER Maryland programs. The successful candidate will be highly organized, customer service oriented, and adept with Microsoft Office products. Strong communication skills are key.
The Outreach Coordinator works closely with a small team to manage the utility rebate programs' relationships with the service provider (or trade ally) community. The candidate will focus on trade ally/service provider management, and other technical services for utility energy efficiency rebate programs and their stakeholders. In this role, you would be responsible for outreach to new and existing service providers, training service providers on participation requirements, tracking and reporting outreach outcomes, conducting market research, and facilitating communications and coordination across a Commercial Trade Ally/Service Provider network throughout Maryland.

Outreach to existing and potential Service Providers and Trade Allies to drive submission of rebate applications Build and maintain relationships with Maryland service providers, trade allies, contractors, distributors and industry associations Identify and attend industry events, including expos, trade shows, counter days, etc. to represent the utility rebate programs Coach and train service providers / trade allies and internal support team members on best practices, application processes, and technical subject matter Create and deliver Service Provider trainings for 100+ attendees; host and manage multiple webinar-based platforms; organize and provide metrics specific to training. Coordinate with the Marketing team around development of messagingSupport the reporting team to assemble and provide reports, presentations, and database management using many MS Office programs and industry-specific software tools Must have a reliable vehicle for local travel. Requirements are between 50% to 75% of the time. (reimbursement for mileage provided)What we need you to have (minimum qualifications):
Bachelor's degree (candidates can substitute one year of experience for each year of education)2+ years of experience in energy efficiency or working with energy efficient technologies or have experience working with Trade Allies or sales/business developmentMust have valid driver’s license and successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) checkWhat we would like you to have:
Experience with and knowledge of energy efficiency Experience with a customer relations management (CRM) tool and databases is a plus. Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:
$54,063.00 - $91,907.00Columbia, MD (MD12)
