Position Overview:
The Outside Maintenance Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all exterior areas of the property are clean, safe, and well-maintained year-round. This role includes routine lawn care, exterior cleaning, seasonal winter maintenance, and general outdoor repairs as needed. The ideal candidate is reliable, self-motivated, and capable of performing a wide range of physical tasks in all weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform regular lawn care tasks including mowing, trimming, edging, fertilizing, and weed control. Maintain cleanliness of all outdoor areas, including parking lots, walkways, entrances, and common spaces. Conduct seasonal maintenance such as snow removal, salting/sanding walkways, leaf cleanup, and storm debris removal. Complete routine repairs to outdoor fixtures, equipment, fencing, signage, and other exterior structures. Operate and maintain landscaping and snow-removal equipment safely and effectively. Inspect the property regularly to identify maintenance needs, hazards, or safety concerns. Assist with exterior improvement projects, including planting, mulching, small installations, and basic carpentry or repair tasks. Respond promptly to maintenance requests related to outdoor areas. Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies while performing all tasks.

 

Qualifications:

Previous experience in grounds keeping, landscaping, exterior maintenance, or a related field preferred. Ability to operate lawn and snow-removal equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, snow blowers, etc.). Basic knowledge of outdoor repair techniques and use of hand and power tools. Physically capable of lifting, bending, working on feet for extended periods, and performing tasks in all weather conditions. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high property standards.

Work Environment:
This position requires outdoor work in varying weather conditions throughout the year, including heat, cold, rain, and snow.

Schedule:
Full-time, Monday - Friday from 7:00 am – 3:30 pm plus 1 Saturday a month.
