Based in Bucharest, The Outside Sales Engineer will be responsible for all sales activities of the designated Flow Control Business Unit to achieve the agreed Sales, Bookings, Gross Profit, and strategic targets for the agreed product lines and services in the agreed sales territory!
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Identify the market requirements and specifics, develop and implement the strategies and tactics for growth of orders and profitability within customers in Romania; Actively promote and sell Emerson Automation Solutions and Final Control offerings including products, solutions, and services in the agreed geographical area or industry of responsibility, and seek new opportunities to sell assigned products and services to new customers and diverse industries; Actively visit existing customers to promote the assigned product lines, entire product portfolio, and services and continuously drive the improvement of customer happiness by understanding, communicating, and implementing solutions to their needs; Negotiate with Customers relevant Business Contracts within the agreed Delegation of Authority – including discount, price, and volume structures and drive sales and proposal strategies with the sales support organization; Maintain a project opportunity list for the assigned sales area in the associated tools like CRMoD and increase both “face-to-face time” and other communication possibilities (telephone, e-mail, etc); Supervise, ensure, and personally support the execution of committed contractual terms to customers in all business transactions; Participate in customer development activities such as trade shows, fairs, conferences striving to promote the sale of products, solutions, and services of designated regions and BU; Maintain and continuously develop a high level of product and technology knowledge required to perform the job; Report regularly to the direct supervisor on market trends, competition strategies, and customer behaviors that may affect the Emerson's business strategies; Report on quotation & project potential through POR and other reporting mechanisms.Who You Are:

For This Role, You Will Need:
Engineering degree or comparable technical education; At least 5 years of sales experience in the industrial market; Business development experience; Strong PC user; Excellent communication and presentation skills; Be a willing to take action, self-motivated, results-driven salesperson; Be a team player willing to work with other salespeople in the region and globally; Proficient English language skills; verbal, reading, and writing; Willing to travel in the region and internationally;Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
