Job Title: Outside Sales Representative Location: Rosedale, MD Job Type: Full-Time
Position Summary:The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, and providing tailored security solutions to meet customer needs. This role requires a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for sales and security technologies.
Key Responsibilities:Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities within assigned territories.Conduct client needs assessments and present tailored security solutions, including surveillance, access control, and physical security systems.Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to ensure long-term partnerships.Prepare and deliver presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the smooth implementation of security solutions.Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the company's overall growth objectives.Maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline management in the CRM system.Stay up to date with the latest physical security products, technologies, and industry trends.
Qualifications:Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in the security or technology sector.Strong understanding of physical security systems such as CCTV, access control, and perimeter security.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet sales targets.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to design solutions that meet customer needs.Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within assigned territory.Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:Previous experience in the physical security industry.Technical background or experience with security systems installation and integration.Experience with long sales cycles and closing deals with large commercial or government clients.
