A family-owned manufacturer of liquid rubbers, plastics, epoxies, clays, foams, high-performance paints, and other special materials used by commercial enterprises and individual consumers for an endless variety of applications is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to join their growing team. This company HQ is based in Macungie PA and is seeking a candidate within a 45-minute commute. The Sales Rep will excel at face-to-face relationship building and materials consultation at customer locations, and trade shows globally. The estimated average travel is 4 nights per month in a hotel or roughly 48 days per year. Extensive training will be provided and ramp up is expected to last approximately 4 months - becoming hands on to learn the products will be essential. We are seeking a go-getter who is kind, has clear communication skills, isn't afraid to get their hands dirty and learn, and is ultra-resourceful when it comes to utilizing Chat GPT, Google, YouTube, and LinkedIn Learning to help you find answers and prepare for whatever comes next. As technical consultants, our outside sales reps never "pressure for sales, but rather serve customers by helping them solve problems, save money, and achieve their project goals. Our best reps are LOVED by customers because they are so knowledgeable, capable, and dedicated. This is not a commission-based role, and you will not have a sales quota. Comp for this role is Base Salary + Performance Bonuses. This resource will manage all communications and contacts in your sales pipeline conducting high volume of outreach, appointment scheduling, and follow-ups via phone, email, videoconference, social media, etc.
