Our client in the Hunt Valley, Maryland area is looking to hire an Outside Sales Representative for their location. The ideal candidate will need a proven experience in outside sales, field sales, or business development (experience in manufacturing or powder coating preferred). Responsibilities for this position include proactively generating new business through in-person cold calling and onsite visits to prospective customers. Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of leads by identifying and pursuing potential clients across various industries.

The Day-to-Day:

(75% Field Sales) Conduct field sales presentations, demonstrating the value and benefits of A&A Powder Coatings' services.Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and market expansion goals.Learn and understand the technical aspects of powder coating through hands-on training, including hanging, painting, and packing processes.Collaborate with the production team to ensure accurate project estimates and timelines.Prepare detailed and competitive quotes tailored to customer needs, showcasing A&A Powder Coatings' expertise and capabilities.Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.Ensure customer satisfaction by closely monitoring project progress and maintaining clear communication throughout the process.Build long-term relationships with clients by consistently delivering quality service and follow-ups after project completion.Serve as the backup point of contact for the Division Manager during periods of absence, such as vacations or other commitments.Ensure continuity in operations by handling critical customer or internal needs in the manager’s absence.Coordinate with team members to maintain productivity and address any immediate concerns or decisions required.

Qualifications:

High School DiplomaStrong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and manage a self-directed schedule.Eagerness to learn technical skills through hands-on training.

Pay Rate/Shifts:

$50k /per yrMonday to Friday8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
