**Job Title:** Outside Sales Representative – Hydraulic Components **Job Type:** Full-time **Location:** Wisconsin, Minnesota, Northern Illinois, Northern Indiana, Eastern North Dakota, Eastern South Dakota **Position Summary:** Under the direction of the Director of Field Sales, the Outside Sales Representative will manage and grow business relationships within a defined sales territory. This position is focused on driving customer acquisition and revenue growth by promoting and selling hydraulic components, specifically custom welded hydraulic cylinders. The Outside Sales Representative will work closely with OEMs and other key customers to ensure the company's products remain competitive and innovative. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** + Establish, manage, and grow relationships with assigned and target accounts in the sales territory. + Develop and maintain high-level relationships with key decision-makers to influence purchasing decisions. + Provide input to the overall strategic direction of the company, ensuring a clear customer focus. + Develop and monitor multi-year sales forecasts, providing updates to management. + Analyze target growth markets and understand key drivers and competitive landscapes. + Open new OEM relationships and further develop existing partnerships. + Execute the company’s sales strategy in alignment with organizational goals. + Support strategic initiatives to grow sales of new products through collaboration with R&D. + Maintain a strong sales pipeline with clear processes for prospecting, proposal submission, and follow-up. + Solicit and communicate customer requirements to the product and engineering teams. + Maintain close working relationships with engineering and production departments. + Monitor competitor activity and adjust sales strategies as needed. + Handle conflict resolution and assist finance in addressing outstanding payment issues. + Obtain relevant industry certifications to enhance credibility and the sales force's capabilities. **Marginal Responsibilities:** + Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements during all duties. + Support the company’s overall goals as coordinated by senior leadership. + Contribute to personal development strategies based on customer service and business goals. + Represent the company in cross-functional teams or at industry events. **Requirements:** **Education and Experience:** + Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent experience. + Minimum of 5 years of proven sales and sales management experience in hydraulic component technical sales or business development, ideally for a manufacturer. + Experience in the oil and gas industry (land-based) is highly desirable. **Qualifications and Skills:** + Strong industrial and technical background with a history of building strategic customer relationships. + In-depth knowledge of the fluid power industry and related products. + Proven ability to drive sustained sales growth and deliver on targets. + Strong problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to create and implement solutions. + Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with customers. + Solid data analysis skills for making key business decisions. + Well-organized with excellent time management and multitasking abilities. + Strong negotiation and commercial skills. + Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. + Ability to travel 50-70% within the sales territory. **Compensation & Benefits:** + **Salary:** $80,000 - $105,000 per year, commensurate with experience. + **Benefits:** Full-time employees scheduled to work 30+ hours per week are eligible for benefits starting the first of the month following 30 days of employment. **Pay Details:** $80,000.00 to $105,000.00 per year Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled To read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please navigate to https://www.adecco.com/en-us/candidate-privacy The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable: + The California Fair Chance Act + Los Angeles City Fair Chance Ordinance + Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers + San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance
