We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Outsourced Operations Manager

Principal responsibilities

Subject Matter Expert: You will bring new ideas and deep subject matter expertise to our 4 pillars: Cost Management, Third Party Risk, Sustainability and Continuous Improvement. Team Leadership: You will lead, support and mentor other team members to ensure they deliver successfully. You may also line manage some of our team where required.Risk Identification: Identify potential risks associated with third-party relationships. Risk Mitigation: Implement strategies to mitigate and manage these identified risks. Ongoing Monitoring: Continuously monitor and oversee third-party activities to ensure compliance and adapt to changing risksCost Analysis: Analyse and understand the entire cost structure associated with suppliers, including hidden or indirect costs. Cost Optimisation: Implement strategies to reduce costs throughout the entire supplier relationship, from procurement to delivery. Continuous Improvement: Continuously monitor and improve cost management processes to enhance efficiency and competitiveness. The team will need to define multi-million dollar savings opportunities each year.Sustainability Integration: Integrate environmental and social sustainability practices throughout the supply chain to reduce environmental impact and promote social responsibility. Supplier Diversity: Foster supplier diversity by engaging with a variety of suppliers from different backgrounds, including minority owned, and women-owned businesses. Resilience and Adaptability: Build resilient supply chains that can adapt to disruptions while maintaining sustainability goals, ensuring long-term viabilityPerformance Evaluation: Regularly assess the performance of the supply chain to identify areas for improvement. Process Optimisation: Implement changes and optimisations to streamline operations, reduce costs and enhance efficiencyOversight of all Third Party types in DCOO: Ensure that our Third Parties meet the requirements of our risk policy and framework. This includes all Third Party types (Internal Third Parties and Non-Traditional Third Parties), and our >1,000 Tier 2 suppliers. In total there will be >2000 suppliers in our scope of responsibility.Frameworks: You will be a strategic thinker in order to develop our frameworks for managing Third Parties across risk, cost and sustainability pillars. MI and reporting: You will define the data, MI, reports and dashboards required to oversee Third Party Management. You will work key stakeholders to agree requirements and work with DCOO’s Data and Analytics team develop new or review existing MI, reports and dashboards. Monitor Third Party Management Activities: You will monitor how well our suppliers are being managed using our MI and reports. You will work with stakeholders across DCOO and the TPM HUB in group operations to ensure that any issues with Third Party Management are addressed..Stakeholder Management: You will make change happen across a large and diverse groups of internal and Third Party stakeholders. You will be expected to create buy-in, influence stakeholders, deal with resistance. You will operate regularly at Managing Director level.Risks and Issues Management, Helios and Third Party Operated Key Controls (TPOKC): You will ensure that the risks and issues we experience across our four pillars are correctly raised and managed. This may include using our risk management tool, Helios, enhancing our control model either internally or through Third Party Operated Key Controls.
