Outsourcing Oversight Manager, Officer
Job Description
The successful individual will be part of the SSBI Outsourcing Office, which was established in 2018 to define a consistent operating model across SSBI’s outsourcing activities, develop a corresponding outsourcing framework and a commensurate oversight model. The team covers all outsourcing activities and outsourcing proposals for SSBI - including its domestic and foreign branches. As a full member of this team, the successful candidate will support the SSBI Outsourcing Office in its core responsibilities to (a) manage and develop the framework (including the corresponding controls and monitoring processes) and (b) to maintain a full documentation set for all outsourcing engagements. The incumbent will also support SSBI Business Units in their respective responsibilities to comply with internal and statutory outsourcing requirements.
Responsibilities include
Support the SSBI Outsourcing OfficeSupport the development and maintenance of the EMEA Outsourcing Policy and the SSBI Outsourcing StandardTake ownership in implementing the SSBI Outsourcing FrameworkMaintain the SSBI Outsourcing InventoryCoordinate, review and opine on new and renewed Outsourcing Risk AssessmentsWork with functional teams across the organization to identify and report risk issues to senior managementLead the coordination of ad-hoc activities, i.e. internal/external audits, CRMT testing, provide customized reporting, Policy and procedure maintenanceTimely Escalation of any issues to line managerOur expectations include

Demonstrate commitment to Integrity and Ethical Values and Strengthen Risk Management CultureDevelop effective working relationships and communications with key stakeholders such as Compliance, ERM and Business UnitsAt least 5 years of experience in roles related to Outsourcing, Third Party Risk Management, Compliance, Risk Management or alikeAdvanced PC literacy including MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint)Sound knowledge of the EMEA regulatory environment and how it relates to Financial Services and State Street in specificKnowledge of Business Process Modelling and Lean Management will be a strong assetAbility to operate at a senior management level and engage with senior staff from different SSBI locationsAnalytical skills: the candidate should be able to take a step back from the available data and look holistically at the risks impacting the service delivery with the ability to “connect the dots” and form an articulated resilience risk opinionEnsure that the highest level of the Code of Conduct is displayed in his own behaviorExcellent organizational and administrative skillsCommunicate confidently, effectively and clearly in both written and verbal formsProficiency in English is a must (proficiency in German would be an asset but it’s not essential)We offer:
