Our client, a growing high-tech metal fabrication contract manufacturer, is seeking an Outsourcing Planner to join their team. As an Outsourcing Planner, you will be part of the production team supporting various departments. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and exceptional organizational abilities which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Outsourcing Planner
**Location:** Hanover, PA
**What's the Job?**
+ Assist in the development, maintenance, and execution of the overall production schedule.
+ Ensure schedule and production commitments for outsourcing are upheld.
+ Communicate regularly with vendors, production, and leadership teams to adjust schedules as needed.
+ Resolve outsourcing challenges with appropriate team members to ensure order completion.
+ Review outsourcing vendor capacity for potential delays in customer shipments.
**What's Needed?**
+ 1 year or more of experience in project management, inventory, and order entry, preferably in the metals industry.
+ Previous experience in production, manufacturing, or related fields.
+ Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
+ Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
+ Proficiency in computer skills, including Outlook, ERP/MRP systems, Microsoft Excel, and Word.
